Spent the entire afternoon at the park with Adan’s sisters and their foster mom. And she’s a nice person and all, but I really hate all the ego stroking that I have to do. Because she wasn’t able to handle Adam and I’m sorry about that, but he’s not that tough. Annoying and button-pushing sometimes, but nothing too out of the ordinary. I mean I was willing to take someone much more difficult – someone whose parents had voluntarily relinquished custody. In fact, I heard from one of Adam’s numerous workers about a girl in Baltimore with an attachment disorder who microwaved a kitten. I was fully prepared to foster someone like her.
Despite my occasional bitching, Adam’s really a walk in the park.
