More bits and pieces. I'll do a proper post sometime soon, honest.
Ipswich 2 – 1 Norwich. This makes me happier than a whole aviary of owls on ecstasy.
Danny Haynes – two-goal hero and winner of
"oddest navel in football" award.
Recession Part One is now on Literotica. Go give it a good vote!
[Writing on part two is currently stuck; just as the participants get into an intense scene, and developing their characters nicely, I get the urge to put in a silly joke which completely spoils it. Last night it was "Doctor, I've got a library book up my arse" that kept intruding...]
Someone told me about Kiva – the place to find opportunities to contribute to micro-loans supporting business in developing countries. I want to join in, but I need a little feedback first – has anyone had any experience, or heard anything good or bad about this?

No spoilers [I think].
Two episodes in, and I still don't like Catherine Tate.
I know there's some of you that rate her, but I can't. Okay, okay, let's not go overboard here: she's no froggin' Bonnie Langford – thank god/dess/es/whatever – but it's far too big a performance for my liking.
Take the bit with the ropes…
Not that it'll put me off seeing every one; I saw a reader's review in the Indie the other day which had a wonderful line in it which explains it perfectly; "you keep watching because for every "Love And Monsters", there'll be a "Blink"…"
In other news:
who likes mackerel?

This entry is entitled "miscellany arranged in bullet points as a way of avoiding having to do any linking material". Enjoy!
Note For Self And Therapist: Still work to do with bi-polars.2
I'm Working On: 'Recession' part two, a post about bribery and corruption and the arms trade [Mark Thomas fans note: he's on a bit of video on that link], and possibly the dishes. Maybe.
Moment I Spat Coffee Over The Keyboard Today: http://www.b3ta.com/board/8261561 [Note: may require working knowledge of late-eighties bands with fit red-headed singers.]
Head-Desk Worrying Thing: A. "popping out back" from her salon to smoke a joint. Not a good sign at all.
Rant At WordPress 2.5: What the frog happened to the picture upload? Luckily, I've got other means and ways of doing it.
Random But Cool Picture To Show How Image Uploading Should Be Done.
[Stick your flash uploader up your arse, WP.]3
footfetishnotes:
1 Like most of Goddess Tori's songs, this cuts deep and to the heart; just listen to those opening two lines and imagine my reaction…
2 Long history here. Those who already know need only read the word "Dawn" to understand.
3 My Firefox has got Flash turned off; 99% of the time it's only used for adverts or for poncy graphics that just slow everything down. If I really need it, one click with IE Tab plugin allows me to use it.

I uploaded this mix CD [well, okay, mix zip-of-mp3s] for someone elsewhere, but I figured some of you lovely llamas might enjoy it too. Some world, some electronica, some just plain weird. It's pretty much all safe for work, though you may want to skip track three if you share an office.

Enjoy!
[yes, this is filler and not actual proper content. "Deal", as our American friends say.]

New Story!
As ever, warning: kink content. If you're not sure whether you want to read it or not, don't read it.
Recession
This is only a first draft, so all constructive feedback is appreciated. If people like it, it may well be a series…
Oh, and The Lodge got published on Literotica, but didn't get good votes – I don't think people liked the twist at the end. Any of you want to improve my score?
